DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first Taproom Series release of 2020! Louise’s Place will be here serving Loaded Potato Wedges and Pushing Chain plays from 7-9pm. We’ll see you on the North Shore!\n \nWe added rich dark cocoa and lactose to our George Hunter Stout recipe. The result is a smooth\, sweet\, rich\, warming Stout for the winter. We brewed this beer in the winter of 2013-2014 at our original facility in Castle Danger and have occasionally brought it back on a very limited basis since then. The base beer\, George Hunter Stout\, is an American Stout with flavors and aromas of molasses\, licorice\, maple\, coffee\, chocolate\, and cream. Savor Dark Chocolate George Hunter Stout while it lasts!

Dangerously good ales will be on tap all night long! \nA little bit about the band: The Northeast Timberland Band has been making music in the Twin Ports (Duluth/Superior area\, for those not ‘in the know’) since late in 2013. Neil has been performing\, either solo or in various band iterations\, for close to forty (forty!) years\, Tim for about twenty. Xavier\, well\, he’s been performing since 2013\, and he’s on the verge of adding some solo work to his performance schedule. NTB loves to make music\, and it shows!

DESCRIPTION:Mel has played at the Bayfront Blues Festival nine times over the last 25 years\, in a variety of bands. Drumming in a polka band gave him his start. From there\, he became a drummer for rock bands. To stave off boredom on the road\, he picked up guitar and learned to play. Around the same time\, he started checking out Albert Collins\, Hound Dog Taylor and other blues albums from the library\, which altered his perspective on music.

It will be busiest later in the afternoon so if you can only come for a couple hours that would be the 2:00-5:00 is the time. \nEvent Address: Laine Rd Road Crossing\nDirections:\nFrom Hwy 61\, North on Homestead Rd to T in rd then right on W Knife River Rd\, Left on Culbertson Rd (curve)\, Right on Two Harbors Rd (curve)\, Left on Laine Rd (CR 266) about 2.5 miles to crossing.\nFrom Pequaywan Lake Rd. South on the Rossini Rd 7 miles to crossing.\nRepeater: 147.270 + PL 103.5 or 147.330 + PL 114.8\nGPS N47.04.073 W091.48.303 \nAbout: You will be assuring the safety of all Beargrease teams as they cross the road. This may include putting snow on the road to allow the sleds glide smoothly. Once the teams start coming\, volunteers will line either side of the trail. This helps keep the dogs on the trail and prevents them from going down the road instead. Some traffic control is required. You may need to stop cars to allow teams to cross and wait for an opening between teams to allow cars past (typically they want to stop and watch). \nWhat to bring: Wear very warm clothes (reflective if you have it)\, bring snacks and beverages\, and be ready to cheer on some sled dogs and mushers!
