Ashwabay Ski and Recreation Area\, Big TAP features brews under the big tent\, local cuisine\, a commemorative tasting mug\, live music\, hammerschlagen and much fun. Come and spend an autumn afternoon enjoying unlimited samples of local\, regional and craft brews from more than 30 breweries\, wineries and distilleries. Take a break for gourmet tasting featuring area restaurants\, producers and caterers from 1-3pm. \nParticipants can hike up and around Nordic and alpine ski trails to the ridge of Mt. Ashwabay. The vista offers outstanding views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. \nThis wildly popular event benefits Big Top Chautauqua and the Ashwabay Outdoor Educational Foundation.
