The Minnesota GIS/LIS is hosting its 25th Annual Conference & Workshops at the DECC in Duluth on October 7-9, 2015. The main fundraising event will be a Beer Tasting at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites. The purpose of this event is to raise money for the Consortium Scholarship Fund. This fund allows the Consortium to recognize and host a scholarship competition during the conference for several graduate, undergraduate and community college students selected by their schools. Over $4,000 are awarded each year in scholarships based on students’ participation and excellence in project presentations.
