Very dark brown, almost black, with some ruby red around the edges, frothy, off-white head forms on top. Aromas of light roast coffee, mild roastiness, pine resin, chocolate covered oranges. Medium sweet and medium bitterness, clean finish and crip and clean. A touch of bitterness lingers on the finish, with a pleasant aftertaste of pine and coffee. Surprisingly smooth and clean for a darker and more bitter beer.
