Position: Seasonal Part-time Bartender

Shift and schedule: Expected hours 15-25/week, flexible and consistent schedule, must be able to work at least 2 shifts/week during peak season (May-Oct)

Purpose
Pour Castle Danger Brewery beers for taproom guests, while providing friendly and efficient service in a fast-paced environment. Use our POS system to complete accurate sales transactions of beer and merchandise. Maintain a high standard of overall cleanliness and security of the taproom.

Duties
• Work taproom as scheduled
• Complete alcohol serve-safe course
• Clean, sanitize, and fill growlers
• Pour and serve beer
• Check identification of guests to verify age to consume beer
• Answer questions about CDB and its beers
• Change kegs
• Open and close taproom
• Process payments for beer and merchandise
• Bus tables and wash/stock glassware
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the taproom
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to work 2 shifts a week in peak season and be available nights and weekends – must be flexible!
• Previous service experience is required
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Excellent communication skills with customers and coworkers
• Excellent customer service
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and environment
• High standard for cleanliness
• Basic mathematical and computer skills
o Use POS/reservation system, handle money, and give correct change

Physical Requirements
• Walk and stand during entire shift
• Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe
• Remain stationary for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 55+ lbs
• Team lift 170lb

Education Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
