Ingrid K. Ilg is a North Shore artist who turns the natural stones of Lake Superior into small, joyful works of art.

Known for her colorful hand-painted rocks hidden along local beaches and trails, Ingrid uses smooth basalt stones as her canvas, creating everything from whimsical animals and food illustrations to detailed mandalas and North Shore–inspired scenes.
