Join us for the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon as they kick off their season on Sunday, October 16.  The event will run 12:00 – 3:00pm and all are welcome! Below are a few activities that are happening throughout the event:

• Meet some of the Canine Athlete’s currently in training – get some one-on-one time with these 4-legged friends and bring the kids to get a photo with the Haunted Sled
• Food will be available for purchase from the Vanilla Bean Restaurant
• There will be a bags tournament – $10 per team payable at the event; prizes for top teams!  Sign up today through the Beargrease Facebook page
• Renew your Beargrease Membership – special incentives will be available for new and renewing members
• Sign up to support the Beargrease and get free Beargrease merchandise, pizza coupons and even a free beer on us!
• Purchase official Beargrease merchandise
• Musher registration
• An anonymous donor has donated a FREE entry into both the Marathon AND Mid-Distance Race for 2017.  Every musher who attends the event will receive a chance to win their entry
