Fresh Hop Fest

Fresh Hop Fest is back at the Castle Danger Brewery Taproom on Saturday, October 17 from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM!

Celebrate hop harvest season with us at the taproom! Fresh Hop Fest is a full day of fresh beer, live music, food, and fall fun.

We’ll be pouring taproom-only fresh hop beer releases, brewed with freshly harvested hops to capture bright, vibrant hop flavors at their peak.

Fall Fun

Gourd Painting

Celebrate fall by getting creative with guided gourd painting led by artist Eric Klepinger. Make your own harvest-season creation while enjoying the festivities.

Mobile Zoo | 1:00–4:00 PM

Cook’s Country Connection is bringing the farm to Fresh Hop Fest! Stop by between 1:00 and 4:00 PM for a unique mobile zoo experience featuring friendly animals including a llama, alpaca, mini horse, mini donkey, and goats.

It’s a fun, hands-on addition to the festival for kids, families, and animal lovers of all ages.

Hop Education

Ever wonder what hops actually look, smell, and feel like before they make their way into your pint?

Stop by our Hop Education area to see and smell real hops used in the brewing process, learn more about what different hop varieties contribute to beer, and ask questions about how we turn fresh hops into Fresh Hop beer.

Think you know your hops? Put your hop knowledge to the test with Hop Trivia Whether you’re a seasoned craft beer fan or just learning the difference between Strata, Mosaic, and Krush, come see how much you know.
